I agree and it will be a last resort. I'm thinking deleting offending posts is probably a good start but we'll have problems keeping up with PMing people about why it was deleted and that might derail the thread into a "where's my post gone" or "OMG Im being censored!" thread.
I think that unless something is proper out of order, or people fail to heed warnings, bans will be rare and maybe just an hour for people to calm down. I always prefer hour bans over any other type. Gives people a chance to collect their thoughts and calm down a bit without barring them forever and ever.
As I say, I hope it doesn't come to any of this. I think that if we can get through today without any personal insults aimed at other forum users, we'll be good

Damo i appreciate trying to sort out this place when its going against us because it gets pretty disgusting but surely we have to remember that emotions and tension is always running high and people will say things that they dont mean or have said in the moment and probably regret it
