As a seven year old 53 years ago I wanted to be Colin bell. Stuck with city ever since in thick and thin and thinner. Been to reading gillingham millwall Barcelona Madrid and next stop Lisbon (if I ever sort out damn Covid prep required). I’d like to claim I’m as passionate about my/our team as anyone. But I’m not from Manchester. Honestly does that really matter? I’ve had to face being surrounded by spurs Chelsea United “fans” being the lone city fan at school and work in, shock horror, south London.

Fair play, I suppose in my heavy handed way i was just trying to point out that we should not clamor for fans from across the globe. There's this on line rubbish a lot of fans spout..you will never be a global club with a world wide fan base. For me i think that's a good thing. I do think local teams should be supported first though, but then again, when a club like City get to you, well its your life thenisn't it
 
Pity Palmer is out still. Must be frustrating for these young players that get a sniff and then ruled out for long periods after breaking through

I do now and I watch Enfield a lot. Football lover here mate but always City. I think a lot got the wrong end of the stick here. I am a huge supporter of fans being committed and travelling. When my dad moved us down sarf...we trekked everywhere, to watch some piss poor games...Brighton FA Cup ..getting pissed on in the open end as we got battered on the pitch. No what i meant was that i just hate the typical anti city fan jibe...'you don't have the fans we have across the world' Arsenal fans give me this a lot...personally its the clamour for 'clicks' rather than worry about supporters through the gate. I mean its amazing that we are one of the best supported teams in the UK pretty much through our history yet ....i'd much rather applaud all the blues who make that pilgrimage regularly and for as many years as they can..up the blues
