Just when you think you're safe from enforced breaks for a while with no international games scheduled, along comes the slightly daft midseason break. I wouldn't normally have much enthusiasm for a home game against lower tier opponents but after yet another enforced break I'll be chomping at the bit for this one.

Although Fulham are technically 'lower league opposition', the way they are going they will very likely be Premier League in 6 months or so and we should approach the game as such. Fortunately Pep normally does and, provided the players do as well, we should be fine.

I reckon Fulham won't be too motivated for this game. Their goal this season is to get promoted and the FA cup is a pointless distraction for them.

I can see them resting key players like Mitrovic for their league campaign.

Knowing Pep our starting XI will be very strong. We won't be complacent and we should win comfortably.

I’d like to see Steffen Zin and Palmer get a run out if fit.

After that Mahrez should be rested up to And play in this one.

Thats how I see Pep handling it. Everyone will be rested so we want to get the team match ready for the league. Although i do think he'll give Dinho a run and obviously Steffen as the cup keeper.

Worth bearing in mind for the keeper situation; Brazil play Wednesday morning at 00:30, USA play at 00:30 Thursday morning.

Steffan is obviously the cup keeper but will potential play 3 games with the USA this week. Pep might think it's a bit too rushed?

Fulham are a good side but i think we'll put 4 or 5 on them.
i'll go for 5-0
