And I was going to caveat my post by saying luckily I wasn't sat in the stand watching it, but that didnt seem fair on those that made the effort

Possibly the soggy pitch was a factor (for some of those passes).

While results are all that matter, particularly at this stage of the season, we really have to get a grip of whatever malaise affects us after halftime. Nobody can relax even with a 3-0 lead. Thankfully today we didn't concede to add to the nerves. The City of old would just keep the ball, passing it around and killing any hope the opposition had of getting a foothold back into the game, while also tiring them out. Pep should be working in training to get that level of control back.

You are missing the point. Posters are entitled to complain about the performances and outcomes in the games you cited. However, this game was a comfortable victory, which was won by half time, and we managed the game out, with a clean sheet at the end.

Why are cunts complaining about the second half after a solid win like that?

Why can’t they just enjoy the win?

26 matches played last season. Goals conceded 37.
26 matches played 2024 season. Goals conceded 26. (Title winning season).
26 matches played 2023 season. Goals conceded 25. (Title winning season).

For all the worry about 'if other teams took their chances...' none of it really matters come the end of the season. Our defence is performing as good as it ever has, and we currently have the 2nd best defensive record in the league (despite earlier injuries to Dias, Stones and Gvardiol). Of course there's always room for improvement, but I think we're heading in the right direction at the moment.
 
Played well first half, some nice movement, overplayed in the final third a little at times. With more accurate shooting and a bit more intelligent play, we could have had more than three.
The second half was a woeful as the weather. An invisible force field appeared to have descended over the final third which prevented us from moving the ball any further forward. Did we even get into the penalty box?
We got the three points and kept a clean sheet but our second half performances don't just have a drop in energy but also creativity too.
 
I would have happily taken a comfortable 3-0 before the game, impressive after the efforts on Sunday.

A few key players to get a rest at the weekend and recharge the batteries.

Guehi and Semenyo great additions, we are again starting to look like a team that means business.

We are just waiting to catch fire with a full 90 minute performance.
 
Great first half, played with real purpose and a desire to score goals. Second half was wank.

3 points, 3 goals, clean sheet. I’d have taken that this morning.
