Fulham (H) Post Match Thread

Would have liked to see some of the fantastic build up rewarded with the finish but overall can’t have many complaints.
Mahrez the best player on the pitch for the second week running.
I’m sure there will be moaning about lack of subs but I expect around 8 changes for the midweek game with players getting the rest they need and others getting the minutes they need.
Another good day at the office. Onwards and upwards.

I get the feeling Pep won’t make subs because he wants the guys on the bench to be even hungrier for minutes.

But when you’re asking for 5 subs and the 11 look fucked after 70mins with the game won its baffling.

Professional performance, 3 points and the boo boys Mahrez gundogan Rodri and Mendy all played well.

Let’s play the kids midweek and make sure we’re fully rested for the scum.
 
Decent enough. Played with a lot more energy and intensity, which makes us look much better.

But still weren’t brilliant and miles away from our best.

The last thing we did was still inevitably poor. Crosses and final passes too often don’t result in a chance, chances too often don’t result in a good finish.

But we are looking better and looking solid with good shape.
 
Jon done. Fulham are a better side than their results show but we were wasteful. first half better than second. crazy that you can win a penalty from the slightest touch but that’s the rules this season
