I'm not sure I agree that Alvarez winning a game for us last year should mean a start for him today. Foden deserves to start over him in that 10 role as it stands in my eyes.Guess the issue is that we struggled against Fulham last season, so Pep is changing his approach to more direct play.
Alvarez won us the game at the cottage, so was always likely to play today.
Walker has to play in case Traore plays, meaning no back 3, so Foden can only really play wide unless you are dropping Kovacic or Bernado.
