Fulham League Cup - Post Match Thread

Diaz is left footed? His first goal was right footed power shot . What a fantastic future we got here .

The lower two tiers were sold out. They might not have been 100% occupied but they were as full as any normal game which is why I believe the 35,000 attendance that was announced was wrong. I make it 38 to 39k based on the capacity of the bottom two tiers plus the crowd in the EL3. Perhaps they gave the actual attendance rather than the tickets sold, which is not what they normally do. It doesn't make sense to me, but it's not important.

There were a couple of blocks almost empty in 9320.

Did anybody else notice the Hawk circling round above the stadium last night? Is in training for the Derby match v the Rags with instructions to go for PEGs eyes ?

Surprised the Sparrowhawk hasn't had more of a mention - absolute star of the show - decimated the Moth defences although missed as many chances as they scored. We had a great view from third tier and sometimes found ourselves watching the feasting more than the football.

As to the football good all-round display - as other have said Jesus worked so hard but just didn't get a break, Sane was almost unplayable but the final ball was often disappointing, KdB was getting better and better as the game went on - such a shame it ended in another injury, Diaz continues to look promising and took his goals well - I really hope he is patient with his development here, Danilo was excellent, and Foden just oozes class - apart from the header he missed! He needs more starts in PL matches but more performances like that will bring them.

Was great seeing do many kids there last night.
Leaving the ground all happy and kicking and heading imaginary balls. Replaying their heroes antics.
