Alvarez. Mentions also to Stones, Rodri, Gundogan and Grealish as they were the only ones who seemed to be able to retain the ball.

I thought the only individuals who were anything like the required level were Stones, Alvarez and Haaland. Of those, Alvarez wins MOTM easily.

Slim pickings in all honesty, gundo was probably the best player on the pitch today but alvarez gets us the winner which is what matters most so it has to go to him.

Alvarez will win by a landslide but I've gone for Gundo. No one will watch that match back but had a very good controlled game. Will go down as one of our most underrated players of this era
