Funny the different perception you get in the ground. I’ve gone Gvardiol but I thought Phil ran him close (incredible running and tracking back) but he’s got one vote, and I thought Akanji was good but he got no votes! I think Ruben was very dominant too

Edit - just got home and seen Josko’s interview, what a pleasant and intelligent young man he is, our recruitment is fantastic

Gvardiol was great, and deservedly MOTM. He’s been excellent for a while now, but special mention to Kovacic too. We look a far more balanced team when he starts alongside Rodri.

So many great performers but Kovacic was pure silk. He was so tidy and perfect with the ball today. Him and Rodri are proving to be a dream combination allowing the more creative players like Kev, Phil and Bernie do their magic. Gvardiol was excellent too. Kov just edged it for me.
