90% of Erling's game is about finishing and he did that rather well, and I thought Foden was our best - all based on the second half showing, mind!
I can’t deny that he took his goals well, especially the third. It was a brilliant finish from a great cross. The penalty was much better than last week’s, and the first was a bread and butter one-on-one.

What a goal scorer!

Seriously, we haven’t got into top gear at all yet, and I suspect it will take a while for the new signings and injured regulars (Stones, Grealish etc) to get back to full fitness, then we have Kev back sometime in the New Year. Meanwhile, with Pep injured, we still got four wins from four, before the international break. Not a bad place to be so far…

Scored a hatrick and got an assist. But my vote went to Foden - by far the best attacking player on the pitch, not withstanding Haaland is a beast

Haaland
Foden
Alvarez

Goals make the difference!

Alvarez is quietly staking his claim that he is restable, but not droppable. Runs his socks off for the team, makes ‘em and takes ‘em, and appears to be a champion person on and off.

We fucking stole that little bastard and the whole world knows it now!

Erling is going home with the match ball so outside of him, Alvarez for me. Foden vote surprises me in how close he is to Erling. I'll have to look closer when MOTD is on. Gomez did excellent for the goal & Bobb had a bit of skill left my jaw on the floor

Been awhile since I disagreed with one of these polls. Granted Haaland hatty and Foden was excellent, but Alvarez should have more votes. Constantly put himself in space; an Energizer bunny; a goal, an assist and won a pen when the match was still in the balance. His movement helps free Haaland up regularly. An absolute steal for us.

He was great his touch wasn't great and gave the ball away way to much from where he plays but pep will get him fine tuned in that position I have no doubt! Work in progress pep said last season he needs to get Alvarez in this side and he has found where to play him it's up to him and pep to tune him into that position!

Haaland foden then Alvarez best players today

What a sublime and complete City team we have - Haaland was indeed the missing piece in the puzzle. We cruised this game when in lead, I love how we keep the ball, play with patience and strike back at will. It's hard not to build faith in this team making history being the first achieving a back to back treble!
