Fulham v City Pre Match Discussion Thread

I am very interested to see how we rebound from a very tough Wednesday night game in the CL. Fulham are tough at their place and I think we might see some fatigue. We have a deep squad but our injuries in midfield thin it out a bit. I would take a nervy 1-0 with the ugliest goal of the season if it meant three points in this one.

Lets bounce back, I know everyone is disappointed with the draw but we should stand up again and continue our amazing run in the League.

I hope our starting eleven will be like that:

_______________Hart___________________

Richards - Komp - Lescott - Clichy

______________ Milner ____________

AJ ___________ Nasri ___________Balo

_______ Tevez _________ Dzeko _____

Will be interestingto see if mancini sticks with the 4-2-4 formation or goes with another midfielder. I would play -

Hart
Richards Kompany Lescott Clichy

milner Yaya

Tevez Nasri Silva

Dzeko

No fatigue excuses, Fulham have an 8pm Europa League kickoff tonight. Zamora being rested though.

Fulham line up for tonight match

1 Mark Schwarzer
5 Brede Hangeland
26 Zdenek Grygera
28 Matthew Briggs
6 Chris Baird
4 Steve Sidwell
10 Pajtim Kasami
13 Danny Murphy
23 Clint Dempsey
8 Andrew Johnson
30 Moussa Dembélé

Hopefully the Dutch team will let them run a lot tonight.

bolded are the ones that started their last league game.

Likely to come in are John Arne Riise at left back, Zamora at striker, and Senderos at CB.

For our next 3 games, Fulham(A), Birmingham(H), Everton(H) i can see certain players rested so they are bang on for Bayern Munich. These are fixtures which i do not think we need to put out a mega strong eleven against, as much as i would love us to try and carry on our big goal streak tallys.
I can see Aguero and Nasri out of out line up rested for Fulham,

--Hart--

Richards-Kompany-Lescott-Clichy

Yaya--Milner

Silva -- Balotelli
Tevez
- Dzeko -

I want Tevez to get some game time just because after watching him against Napoli and Wigan he just was not cutting it and a few games will get his mojo back. This goes for Balotelli as well.

Premier League wise our games up until December are pretty reasonable bar Man United.. December is a hard month for us with Big CL games followed by away trips to Chelsea and Arsenal plus if we get that far, Carling Cup Quarters and FA Cup games to name a few.. I really do not want us tired around this time so going out every game with major players is very optimistic IMO, lets do that after Christmas when we are hopefully out of the CL group and after the kind of half way period. My view on Man United and Chelsea are that they will not have major rotations going on and i hope eventually they will go through a stalling period due to fatigue.. that is when our depth comes into place and we can finish the final stretch in style... touch wood anyway!!!

My main point is that if we have a possiblity of resting a key player/s, do it. Worst thing we can do is get goal gready and putting a Mega squad on all the time... it will kill us in the end.
