Still not a bad bench considering our mounting injuries

Where's Lescott?

Presuming he's picked something up in the last 24 hours. Pellers didnt mention him i didnt think yesterday in the list of those out.
Pellegrini probably wants someone who can play 2 positions on the bench. Boyata is a backup for the full backs, while Garcia is a DM and can play CB.

can't see that personally, no one in their right mind would have Boyata on the bench ahead of Lescott

You sure Garcia can play CB (lol)?

He tries :P. Pelle loves Garcia so not taking him off the bench ever I guess.

Really worried about Clichy at RB: I remember seeing him play once there for us and even though he is naturally right-footed. He certainly isn't anymore.

Maybe he is on his way in Jan, only 10 days away and quite possible someone has put a bid in for him.

With all due respect to Boyata , I hope Lescott is unavailable today otherwise its a clear signal he's heading out in January and if so hopefully we have a better replacement lined up.

MP has said none of the current squad will be sold before seasons end but who knows.

-- Sat Dec 21, 2013 11:38 pm --

Only if we have a better replacement lined.

Seriously we cannot afford anymore injuries or letting the likes of Lescott go unless we have a better replacement lined up.

Saw on Inside City that he didn't train on Friday so must be injured or ill.

I really dont get where is this myth coming from that Dzeko and Negredo cant play together....????

They played a full game together vs. Newcastle - and if memory serves me right they kicked some A$$ together...

I really dont get it. What is this based on - sheer fact that they have similar (although I disagree) play style??? Can't think of any other basis for such myth, really.

Jeeez

We are going down like flies at present.
