"Beating his girlfriend"

She attacked him and his car with her keys when he came home one night because she thought he was cheating on him, he restrained herforcefully and they both got arrested. His injuries were worse than hers.

In court they both got given the same sentence - 30 days community service and she got made to pay for the car damage.

It's not a great thing to be in the news about, but saying he beat his girlfriend is wildly inaccurate.

It's also not "politics" either.
I was misinformed. Was told one of the Hernandez boys beat his girlfriend.

He's got a great deal to learn looking at those highlights...

Has the tools but needs to get his head up and sort his final ball..

We have a major job on at full back(s) in the summer, we need at least 3 and imo 2 established pros, otherwise it could be another transitional 12 months.

Haven't seen the highlights video because I'm at work, but Hernandez's final ball is very good, probably his strength. It helps that he's so ridiculously fast that he's usually got away from his defender and has time to get his head up and put it in without pressure.

Where's it's coming from that athletico are willing to part company? He only signed last year and it looks like sending him out on loan has worked a treat!

Spanish Media reporting he's unhappy (probably worried about being stuck behind Luis) and has a €25m release clause with Real interested - should make it easy to negotiate the release with Atleti if true.

Has a £20m/24m release clause so they don't have a choice. Particularly with the change of laws around the release clauses which means it's literally just £20m up front no added 20-30% from taxes.

Also seems unhappy at the idea he won't start for them next season so would rather leave. Simeone is very love/hate and he definitely wouldn't be the first to just not get along with him.

Then why Real, he's not starting over Marcelo

Know we're desperate for a LB but don't think Gaya or Bernat is the solution.Bernat is just a technically-gifted,shorter version of Kolarov at LB..Switches off regularly and his positioning is wanting..Gaya was amazing when younger but he has 'stalled' for the past few seasons, mainly due to injuries..Another technically gifted player but question marks around his fitness.
Would have Grimaldo at LB,regularly stepping into MF..Has a football brain too.Fabinho at RB,coming into MF also.
Kolasinac as another one,too good to pass on especially on a free and can play both LB & CB.

So nothing like Kolarov then? Its like saying Messi is a technically gifted shorter version of Harry Kane coz they both score lots of goals.

Not a good comparison. But yes on your Grimaldo shout. Albeit I worry about his injury nature. Is this a one off or a trend?

He's had a lengthy knee injury before in 12/13, yeah I think he's quite injury prone

SportBILD: Sead Kolasinac's future is likely to be decided after Easter: join Man City or extend contract & stay with Schalke. #S04 #MCFC

Kolarov comparisons in that defending is not his forte,he's quick though so he bails himself out many a times..He could play LWB maybe as he's good going forward.
Injury worries around Grimaldo too, ruptured his cruciate in 2013 and was out for an year and now this abdominal injury and has been out since November, but is back now.A risk either way,but just feel he's a better fit for us as he's played in midfield before, for Barca B.
