Full Backs?

i do not think we have much money to spend so buy Karsdorp for right back in january he is very quick and determined but young and inexperienced , so at the moment cheap , he is going to be good, linked to utd
buy Kolasinac for left back until the end of the season he is tall quick can use both feet and has a good shot and cross at the end of the season move to midfield and buy grimaldo. Kolasinac is class young and cheap as his contract runs out this summer us and liverpool have been linked

Tierney from Celtic is the obvious choice, already one of the best in Europe and we need to sign him urgently before the price tag becomes prohibitive

hasn't he had quite a bad injury recently ?

just had a look,he has been out for a couple of months with ankle ligaments but back in training now.
 
I always rate Seamus Coleman highly as a potential full back for us to replace Zabba and Sagna full term. With Maffeo hopefully pushing him on in the full term from next season on. As for left back who knows who we will end up going for.
 
As stupid as it may sound I'd go for strengthening Left-back in Jan and go all out for Fabinho (Monaco) in the summer. Fabinho is a player that would do so well for us. He's just so amazing in Ligue 1. And it's just a matter of time before another top team snatches him!
 
Need a left back with pace desperately.
Need a right back too but Maffeo is good enough to be given a shot at making one of the right back slots hus own this season.
(Every team needs two of each as the role is so demanding you have to rotate).

I agree with that. If we are looking for young talents tierny is the one. very good going forward and solid defensively most of the time.

Not ready. Probably won't make it at left back anyway, no defensive instincts. My gut feeling is he'll end up as a left winger at mid table level.

Yes I has wondered about his defensive side but shame we didnt give him a go in a Cup game or Celtic,at least we would know.Think he a Pep player as comfortable with the ball and far better crosser than Clichy.
 
We should go balls deep for David Alaba this winter. A short term solution to the Ilkay situation as well as a fantastic full back. He can even play at centre half. But would Bayern sell? And would they sell to us?

No. Bayern hardly is some small club that sells its best players.

Came in to say this. Very viable option at Jan time. They are a busted flush and 10 mil should get him. Cue cheeky going in with 25 but so be it if he comes. Need someone of his mobility and strength.

Physically we need to become a very different beast
