Funniest City goal scored of all time?

Hands up if you remember Ron Futcher! His twin brother Paul was hot property around 76-77 but if you bought Paul you had to take Ron as well. The original buy-one-get-one-half-price. He scored at the Platt Lane end against Spurs when a cross hit the back of his head and flew into the net. He was the last person in the ground to realise that he’d actually scored. He must have thought it had gone yards over the bar because all you could hear around the ground was laughter rather than cheering.

early 90's, luton gk kicked it out to david white, thinking there was a free kick, before he got back to his goal white had hammered it straight into the net.

I always remember one Goater scored against leicester a fair few years ago. Tim Flowers was in goal, and he punched the ball onto the back of the Goat's head and it flew straight back past him and in. Hilarious!

Vassell vs Watford 06/07, when the rag keeper Ben Foster scuffed a kick out and fell to the deadliest finisher on the pitch. hahaaaa

One of the funniest scored against us (55 secs.)

Always remember a game I watched from the Platt Lane in the early 80's. Can't remember who we were playing. There was a bit of a scramble in the area and their keeper dived on the ball and smothered it, so Gerry Gow decided it was a good idea to stamp on his head and kick him in the face until the keeper eventually let go of the ball in agony and Gow tapped it in the net from about half a yard out. The ref allowed the goal!!
