I go and watch a lot of live stand up though not usually big names.

One that sticks in my mind is Dan Nightingale, he was excellent when I saw him.

Izzard is up there.The guys unbeatable. Been around for a while now but he makes you laugh out loud so much in just one show and when you watch it over and over, you still find yourself laughing.

Notable mentions for Michael McIntyre, Peter Kay, Lee Mack, Jason Manford and Jimmy Carr. Although I wouldn't put any of them in the same league as Izzard.

Frankie Boyle is decent on MTW but stand up, meh, nothing special. Lee Evans I don't like and don't find particularly funny.

Demitri Martin, an American comedian is one for the more intelectual members of Bluemoon!
