you know whats frustrating about the whole 'ruining football' argument is the fact that every single club in the world spends money on players to 'improve their squad'

ok, take wigan....porstmouth.... they spent 7.5m on defo, bought crouch etc, so they could 'improve their squad. they spent whet they could afford....what their transfer budget would stretch to, do you think they would have bid £30m for berbatov if they could afford to....hell yes....utd and chelsea have been in a fortunate position where they could afford to spend vast amounts of money on one player....

we are doing what every club in the world does, buys players they can afford....were just in a fortunate position to afford anybody.....

£100m is crazy money for one person....and it would be much 'healthier' if transfers were for a smaller amount due to the current climate.....say we could buy kaka for £40m......but it aint happening

who knows what this transfer will do to football.....but it wont 'ruin it' the worse the world gets the more clubs will go bust...at least were the only club putting money back into football!

Difference is, we're not breaking up the sum of money on several players, we're spending it all one one. So whats the big problem jealous bastards.

You said she 'put up a poor argument' but to be honest Idont think I've ever heard a good argument off any of them.
They think its ok for them to spend money because they have built there club up 'organically' as a Utd fan once told me. So I assume 'organically' means dragging there players to every corner of the earth in aid to sell shirts. However if you ever say we'll we did that we just found some richers supporter in the middle-east they dont like it so much

I work with a Rag here and all he has said is "you can have him he isnt the best player in the world" ect...

So my reply was... "he's 26 he hasnt hit his prime yet" Argument over or shud i say moan over on his side

Ask him what happend in the Semis a couple of season's ago when he destroyed them home and away!! I've never seen tranny put a performance like that, because he's not good enough to it unless it's fulham or bolton.

I'm finding it hard to even hold a conversation with tw4t fans these days with anything regarding football, bascially their just a bunch of hypocritical bitter jealous rag bastards who I wouldn't piss on if they were burning.

i feel exactly the same as this, if another rag say's to me "Kaka won't sign for city because.................." or "your going to ruin football" i truly think i will grip them around the throat and ask them to think about what they're going to say. like you said hypocritical jealous bastards

The only reason we are ruining football is because the top four will no longer be the top four!

The only people coming out with this argument are sad pathetic followers of the scum.

A mate of mine who is a lifelong utd fan always said to me over the years how he wished city and utd were the best in the league, where we would be fighting for the title and playing in cup finals against each other. Well, now the time has come where this will one day be a reality and he sure has hell hasn't said the we are ruining football.

Come to think of it he has been very quiet since the arabs took over, perhaps maybe he is thinking oh s**t.
