Load of old wank. I haven't heard it, but that's not the point is it?
It's bound to be shite. Just like that Killers album, very embarrassing.

No, thats entirely not the point you fool. Like I said, I was way past caring, and expected the worst. But, from the two or three songs I have heard, against the odds, W. Axel Rose, has amazingly pulled off some good songs, and if the rest of the album is as good, then I will buy it. And to begin to compare a band of GnR's calibre and history to plastic wankers like The Killers is just silly......

Okay, I've heard 5 tracks today from Axels new album, I thought they were all shite, which doesn't bode well for the rest of the album. I admit that I'm biased though, I thought they were shite even when they were at the top of their game. Axel just sounds like a skriking little smackhead whose pants are far too tight.

As for the Killers, I only mentioned them 'cos I've had to endure their new album this week.
That album is the worst I've heard this year. Truly awful, bland cack.

So, was there any point whatsoever in contributing to my OP?

Sheeesh.......

They were shit back then and are completely irrellevant these days, especially without Slash.
Good luck to Axl Rose for conning David Geffen out of millions though.

Couldn't agree more.

Metal (if they were in the first place, a lot think they were) has moved on so much, that albums such as this can't be groundbreaking technically or artistically. I'm also looking at you, Metallica.

I guess you love a bit of Fall Out Boy.

GnR used to be a metal band but they've moved on since then.

Quite the opposite good sir. More like Nile, Enslaved, BTBAM and the like.

Yeah, all those bands are SOOoo much better and more mekkul than GnR now. They have taken thier crown as household names, and are selling shedloads of albums, and doing HUGE stadium tours........Who??

i think 'better' and the title track are the best ones but couldn't believe 'if the world'. i thought it was a joke until axels voice came in.
buckethead is a great guitarist but seems buried in the mix, more so than slash ever was.
