Gabby J

I am pleased for Jesus, I really hope it works out for him and Arsenal, except against us! What I like about him improving Arsenal is the opportunity to take points off Chelsea, Spurs and Liverpool, who will be our main rivals next season. Part of the reason for the dippers high points haul is the non competitive games they had against the rest, they looks to be changing next season.
Surely that's the same for us ?

You cant read anything into pre season games but i think he will do well there, same as Sterling at Chelsea as they wont be up against teams with everyone behind the ball and defending deep every week

Jesus started off like a house on fire at Manchester city and looked the part, but was not happy playing 2nd fiddle to aguero and being a squad player, he never got going after that and was very patchy with being in and out of the team

maybe he needs to be the number one striker at a club and play every week even if his form dips ?
But at Manchester city you can not be playing and not producing the goods and stay in the team, because city are simply on another level, you stand out like a bad penny and somebody will be in taking your place

good player and will have a place in our hearts, but at city under pep we don't carry anybody

Me two weeks ago
“Thank you for everything Jesus, I wish you well in your future career“

Me after 90 seconds of his Arsenal debut
“what in gods name have we done?”

Good point especially Raz, I think he'll have some joy down the wing taking on fullbacks more often rather than the stop and pass it back nonsense he did for us. Gabby will thrive on the Gooners fluid pass and move style of play.

He is going to do well at Arsenal IMO. Think we should prepare ourselves for that reality! He's clearly needed a change of scenery for a while to rediscover his confidence.

Think you missed the point.
Liverpool were only close cos everybody else was shit. Everyone else gets better, we still beat them but Liverpool have more of a struggle. It's called the Vital Incremental Causational Tethering Impact Mean (VICTIM) effect.
Love it, VICTIM effect!!

We should let go. He is an Arsenal player. Wished him well (not Arsenal) and will fondly remember him. But I support our players, and hope they make us forget about GJ asap.
