Amateur boxer before he went pro as a footballer and still trains as a boxer to keep in shape, has about 2 stone on Dinho as well. As I said, my money's on Ota.

Don't know where youre getting that from. I got his autograph the day he signed, outside the main entrance. Was very surprised how small he is.

True he was a keen boxer growing up, still a fan of the sport and is fan of Ricky Hatton too apparently... still he does need to cut out the diving though it's more when he fucks up he does it(or feels like he's about to) which is a bit different than being shy of a physical challenge. Still Dinho is lean as they come and tough as nails but why argue about that anyway this is football not boxing? Dinho's the man where that's concerned(good choice for captain when Kompany is injured for me). :)

Is this like in school when you used to argue who's dad was the hardest?

mind you we were 10 years old at the time.......

Looking forward to seeing Jesus live in action.

I know we need to be patient and not expect too much, but god im excited to see this lad. He looks like he will bring us something completely differnt. Absolute pace to burn from the looks of it and the ability to go past players. He's not just some kid in the brazil under 19's with potential, he's their first choice number 9 and scoring for fun. Are we likely to see him before January? Even in training would be fantastic.

He can't sign for us before January so he certainly won't be playing before then.

I was under the impression that he's already signed for us, as in we hold his registration and he's currently on loan at Palmeiras?

Not that I can see him playing for us before January at the earliest.

Let him have a few weeks off in December/Jan and then bring him over to train with the squad.

Shouldn't take long for him to get his fitness up and maybe he'll be ready to play by mid-Feb. Could be an important addition for us during the last few weeks of the season - either as an impact sub or filling in when we inevitably get injuries.

Sign for us in a squad sense, he's on loan until the transfer window opens again.
