This is true. And he takes up some great positions off the shoulder of the defender.

It becomes the Neymar show when he gets the ball, sometimes it comes off but more often than not he overdoes it and more often than not Jesus has taken up a great position.

He's holding his own well, tough to judge his performance when Brazil's awful midfield can't get the ball to him, Paulinho and Renato Augusto are the 2 worst players on the pitch. Difficult game to make his debut in too, Ecuador are top of the world cup qualifying group.
