He says he has told the agent his wishes and the agent is publicly talking about offers. We’ll see. I hope he just wants a better contract, but the emphasis on the national team makes me wonder

I think with Jesus we have a guy that a lot of clubs would be willing to pay a lot of money for. He's our easiest big money sale. Someone like Sterling would get more money but would be harder to shift. And others might be easier to sell but without as big a fee.

I suspect with Haaland and Alvarez coming in he's been nudged into looking for a future elsewhere. I'd rather keep him, but I accept he might just be the one to move on.
