Gabriel Jesus return from injury

This is as good news as we could have hoped for really.

I bet he'll be full of excitement & score when he comes back, thus ending his little spell without a goal, & be very dangerous around the box, for the last months of the season.

Just got to negotiate this awkward spell without him & then it's like getting a new signing, again.

Anyone know what that means ? it is obviously bad but I have never understood ACL injuries etc
The ACL is the anterior cruciate ligament that connects the femur and the tibia. It’s no different or special compared to any other ligament in the body, does exactly the same job as any other, just that the knee is a weight bearing joint so can hinder someone for longer than say a shoulder ligament injury might due to having to use your legs to walk. But the recover process doesn’t take any longer.

The injury of a ligament is called a sprain (muscle injuries are called strains, bone injuries are called fractures). Depending on the grading (grade 1 is a slight tear, grade 2 is a 50% tear or more, grade 3 is a rupture) the recovery process can be between 1 and 6 months or more.

Ligaments have poor bloody supply compared to muscles and bones so take longer to heal.

Except he’s done the mcl, not the acl, lol.

Come on Gabriel - I'll be praying for you.
May your namesake (above) treat you with care.
Possibly 3-5 weeks - What do I know ?....

Hopefully 3-5 weeks max as I feel he is crucial to any CL hopes.

Last season's CL went to pot when he and Gundogan were injured.
