Gabriel Jesus return from injury

I guess it's possible the tests conducted in Barcelona early in the week reveled a ligament rupture but I find it hard to believe it wouldn't have gotten out until now, especially given how active Jesus is on social media. It's either that or Dr Cougat somehow missed it, which would be basically impossible. Fake news

I was within about 10 meters from him at yesterday’s game.
He was on crutches, but he seemed to be in good spirits and having a joke and a laugh with a couple of his friends sat next to him.
Read into that what you will.

If you watch how he goes, stretched/torn medial ligament makes sense. Unfortunately it’s a shitty little piece of flesh but really important. Tricky one.

I have watched Hazard play for a while (from before he joined Chelsea) and have noticed he goes down at the slightest contact around the knees, specifically, contact at the back of the knee - and I don't mean what he does to win penalties. I think I now know why he does it - it is to avoid bad injuries.

Gundogan and GJ (assuming it is true) both picked cruciate ligament injuries after players went through the back of them. I was watching both matches and the incidents are identical.

I feared the worst when Andros Townsend went through the back of GJ, before GJ slipped. I recognised then that what Townsend did was exactly the same thing the Watford player did to Gundogan.

Gutted for Gabriel Jesus.

Hopefully it's not worse than initially feared but either way Jon Moss should still be disgusted with himself.

Bollocks haha...is that you Mr Conte?

This thread just seems like people are making shit up so why not.

I heard from the pub doctor that his:

ACL, PCL, MCL, LCL, PT or ITB

is torn (but have to make up other names) or sprained, ruptured, severed or even broken.

He will be out for:

One, two three, four, six, nine month or forever.
