Funny that he is compared to Neymar when you watch what we can see and he is quite a different type of player. I know the comparision is more about "talent", but he appears to be more physical and aggressive, as well as happy to head the ball in 50/50 situations on both ends of the pitch.

Looks like he will pick up cards for some of his behaviour, including sloppy tackles I observed, and seeming like a bit of a hot head. Yet, he appears to have a good work rate, and could play anywhere up front or on the wing.

I thought I read somewhere, which could make sense, that he wants to be seen as independent of Neymar and create his own name. If he joins him at Barca he will be in Neymar's shadow after Messi and Suarez age out.

Ha. True enough.

Edit: did we sell him straight to Barca? Silly move if you ask me.

Not a first teamer
We sold him to Barca who eventually sold him on with a buy back clause.
No he wasn't a first teamer but we almost certainly would have liked to keep him. Not saying we are a big selling club but I should think from time to time there will be players particularly Spanish and Latin American ones who will find it a pretty strong pull if they come calling.

None, I repeat none of the English Premier League clubs can compete with the BIG 2 in Spain

Both Barça and Real regard ALL English Premier leaugue clubs as selling clubs.

Bale, Ronaldo, Suarez and countless others are testament to this.

If either of the Big 2 want Gabriel Jesus or Paul Pogba they will get the player they want.

When it comes to competing to sign a player - such a Pogba - they will - 90% of the time, win the battle to sign that player.

That's why Manchester United have cancelled pogba's medical

Kev

Edit: My bad, you said Spain.

Nolito then?
