cannt wait to see him play but i think we need to be cautious of expecting too much too soon of a very young man moving into an environment (living and work) that is very very different to what is normal to him.....we have seen (and heard) how Sane has has struggled and he has only come form Europe.....I also think he will get kicked from pillar to post the moment he steps onto the pitch in most games....opponents will try to intimidate him. I have heard he is a real fighter do that will stand him in good stead as he will have to be...

He clearly has the skills and attributes to succeed at the highest level and he has the manager in Pep to help him reach his potential but not everything is as simple as that. We have seen lots of very exciting prospects come and go without ever hitting the heights......though admittedly he seems far far more advanced and better equipped than anyone else Ive ever seen at his age.

We have got two games upcoming which dependant on which way you look at it either are perfect for his his introduction or not ideal at all...Everton away (one of the few reamining old style English grounds with the crown still right on top of the players)......hard game at the best of times...and then Spurs at home.......they are probably playing better than anyone at present and that for us will be a huge game....do we play him or put him on the bench......Ive no idea what is the answer...introduce him slowly or drop him in right at the deep end

Oh i dont think he is soft at all....i wast saying that but its a huge ask for someone who is basically still a kid to come in and adapt that fast to not only his role in the team but also life in general in a country and culture that is very different

I think his youth and lack of fear are his best assets. Pep wants the players and fans to believe City are a good side and can beat anyone. Jesus has huge confidence, he will rock up thinking he can smash it at the club in the league and Europe and he might drag the rest of the team with him.

The tactics against west ham would suit him, get him in the role Sterling played. His link up play with Aguero could be incredible. Sterling is still lacking on the goal scoring front, he showed great composure when played through in the first half but Reid got back at him. He needs to be composed but more arrogant in goal scoring positions. Jesus' arrival and Sane coming back and hopefully continuing in the vein of form he was in will take us up a notch because it looks like Aguero, Yaya and Silva are all in form now and our defence is looking better. Sagna and Clichy have been very good up and down the pitch too.

We might just be coming into great form which can carry us to the end of the season.

I think footballers get to much protection and what have you.
Tell him he's playing and let him get on with it

Think you be surprised that sterling at the moment in the premier will look the better player.

Does anyone have a feeling Sergio will be gone at the end of the season? From watching us, I just don't think he suits Pep's style of play. He is unquestionably one of, if not the best finisher in world football. However, he also plays with his head down, and passing and link up play is not a strength of his. I mentioned this in the transfer forum, but after watching young Dembele for Celtic, he looks ideal for Pep's style of play. He is a natural finisher and has pace and power. On top of this he is very unselfish and links skilfully with his attacking midfielders with precision weighted passes behind defences. I think these are the attributes we need from our front man if the team is to succeed in implementing the style Pep wants to play.

This is in no way meant to disbarage Sergio btw, it's just certain players suit different styles of play, and to me he has looked very under par this season despite his decent goal return. I also believe he feels this way too, giving the numerous out of character incidents he has been involved in. Strange times ahead if we are willing to let someone with his talent move on in his prime. Some big big decisions to be made...
Before last night i would be inclined to agree, but it just seemed to click for him. He was running around, going out wide, one touch football. It was a perfect pep striker performance
