An issue between City and Palmeiras in the FIFA Transfer Matching System is what delayed Gabriel Jesus' registration. [@globoesportecom]

The issues were sorted on Friday and Gabriel Jesus can soon be presented as a City player. He could debut vs. Everton. [@globoesportecom]

City's unveiling of Gabriel Jesus will be discreet, with no open press conference. The club only plans to show images. [@globoesportecom]
I'm going to say the muted unveiling is probably Pep recognising he's already got so much expectation on him for such a young age, he probably doesn't want to feel pressured himself(Pep) to play him more than is necessary for the teams sake. The same happened with Sané there's been a few in Germany questioning the move because he wasn't getting a game at first but he's starting to play more frequently now.

The MEN today seemed to believe Pep or someone at the club has said it's more to do with there being no point doing a media frenzy if there's no plans to play him just yet he needs time to acclimatise, get to know his team mates, the style of play and tactics etc. Have the club helped him find a house yet?

He has his mum and brother here and pep did say dinho and nando will help him settle, pep and txiki took the 3 of them out to dinner a while ago,i think everyone are being impatient to see him play but i never expected it till feb, patience is required

Mum, Dad, brother and a friend. It's quite the entourage but hopefully it sees him settle in and it must be better than going home from training to an empty mansion.

Got a feeling the kid is going to hit the ground running. The biggest asset he has outside is his ability is his seemingly total unflappability. Absolutely buzzing to see him play. Another signpost that the future's going to be very very bright for us.

Im excited by this kid and think he's going to be special.
He's Brazils no 9 and he's 19. If he turns out as good as the last leading striker for
Brazil who was 19 well have some player on our hands.
Matched with Sane and Sterling, Zinchenko, Moreno, Roberts, Brahim and others I'd say we're in a good place.

Thanks for that. Are Globesporte reliable compared with MEN?

This signing will be THE best signing this club will have made since the takeover, its got that feeling similar to when Barca bought Ronaldinho from PSG -you just knew he was going to be special.

Hes the mobile direct striker we have been crying out for for a few seasons now, he absolutely will fit this team like a glove, a proper team player to boot.

A front three of GB , SA and RS is mouthwatering, Kev behind with DS and Fern in the DM roles.

Going to be very very interesting watching this take shape now.

I think Gareth Barry is too slow for the left winger/forward role personally, but it's worth a shot if we can pick him up cheaply.
