Gabriel Jesus

Looking at how slowly Sane is being introduced , I doubt Gabriel will be playing in Jan ..ANd maybe that would be good for him . If we introduce him too early and he doesnt deliver much , media will brand him a failure ..I feel hey are just waiting to judge him .. Better to let him settle and then expose him .

Sane was injured when he first joined. And it should be easier to integrate one new player into the team rather than 4 or 5. I think he'll be playing in January, but he'll be in and out, often starting from the bench. If we beat West Ham, the next round of the FA Cup is w/e 28th Jan and I would expect him to play in that game.

Sterling, sane and Jesus are the future of MCFC. I really hope that when he plays he does not replace Sterling or Sane.

There is an option to play two forwards, but then where would Sterling and Sane fit in? Guardiola should go on the offensive when Jesus arrives. We have been without Aguero for a lot of games, but when Jesus arrives we will have attacking options. Guardiola doesnt seem to trust Kelechi but he has been more effective than Kun. He has also been slow to introduce sane and when he did play him he played him on the left which was not a good idea for a young player who needed to settle in.

at the moment we're neither effective going forward, or defending, but we have the best forward players in the league.

Quite a tricky one: how to manage him in to maximum advantage.

He's a teenager, not prime Maradona! There's positivity and then there's insanity haha! A 19 year old kid won't just waltz in and make us invincible. I'm expecting him to be supremely talented but I think you're expecting too much too soon!!!
Agreed.

Even Ronaldo was a bit gash in his first season at the swamp. But he went on to become quite good ;-)

“We are going to see,” said Pep. ”He was three years without a holiday which is a lot for any player but he is fit and young so we will see – he has only had two or three weeks without training so I don’t think we will need to spend too much time getting him ready."
Sounds like it won't be long before he's in the team.

His tenacity is exactly what we are currently missing in the final third... hopefully his desire etc is infectious and gives the rest the kick up the backside we need.

As I understand it, he got paid from yesterday so he should be starting today! Three onside scorpions, two from outside the box and the other from the centre circle. Mind, none of 'em wouldn't be as good as th'Armenian's!
More chance of waiting for him to clear up the obligatory hamstring injury before he gets his first game in!

Jesus here at Christmas, knowing our luck he'll be gone by Easter.
Hopefully he won't be injured by the end if January and out for for the rest of the season. I just hope they don't loan him out like they seem to have done with the rest of our young stars.

Wasn't Gabriel Jesus the top scorer in the Brazilian League? That's what I have been telling my friends.

He certainly is number 9 for the full Brazilian team.

I am incredibly excited to see him getting goals for us and for his workrate and pace closing down the opposition.

Hopefully he will give us a huge lift and inspire us to challenge for the title again?

I'm beginning to see a little bit of light on this issue. If I remember the word was that he would play at Palmeiras until the Brazilian season ended and then he would join us in 2017. That's it! He's only joining. It's another lash up. He won't get fully fit till middle of Feb and then he'll get a game in March. "Kinell!

He finished joint 5th in the scoring chart. Very tight though. Seems quite low-scoring with the top scorer on 14

they all can always play.
4-1-3-2, with inverted fullback.
i wish Pep will play more direct with 2 striker.
with Jesus work rate, he will be great on closing down opponents defender with Kun.

----------- jesus ------- kun

--- sane --------- kdb -------- sterling

------------------ dinho

--- (usual back 4 with inverted FB)

He's not long finished their season so what makes you think he needs to get fit again?
