i was a bit worried when on news that a Brazilian team had crashed into some mountains, RIP those who died

Sticks and stones.

People called me plastic when I switched from Liverpool to Chelsea after a spell following Man U.

Now I'm a Blue, the fcukers can call me whatever they like.

Fucking weird is what I'd call you ;-) But heck, whatever floats your boat.

Admittedly I was a red once. But then I was 5 at the time and changed by the time I was 6. That was 49 years ago.

These days, I simply cannot imagine how on earth anyone can switch teams. It's completely beyond me. It would be like a straight bloke deciding to be gay in my way of thinking. Just no.

Plastic fan is a term I've only ever heard on the internet. Typically by a Sky 4 supporter that doesnt go to matches themselves.

We've always had a strong, loyal, foreign supporter base that have been made to feel welcome by match going blues.
you've not been in the Bravo thread have you...? ;-)

Complete bollocks. That's like saying you shouldn't support any f1 Driver if you aren't from the same city as them or related to them? Can't support an nba team because I'm not from America? What's the point watching it then. People can support who they like.

I went to Morocco last year and watched a city game with a few locals who all had city tops and it was a top experience. Might not have the knowledge as a local city fan but to say they can't support a team purely based on the fact they were born somewhere else is just stupid.
It's not stupid at all, it's just my point of view on it. And I'm not saying it shouldn't happen and that people shouldn't do it, people can do what they want, I just think it's plastic and a bit sad.

Plus if people had more support for their local teams and leagues those teams and leagues would better overall and world football would be better for it.

But, again, people can do what they want.

What I will say though is that in my group of mates there is a random Liverpool fan and he gets dogs abuse off all of us for being a fake plastic Scouser from Manchester and we never let him live it down the sad fucker (top lad really!)

Of course, disagree by all means mate, many will with what i said, no worries. City aren't mine to say people who are like you have no right to support City, that's your choice, not mine, City are for anyone... it's just something i personally won't ever "get" or like.

So you don't like fellow fans because they are not like you?

It's a tough one and I can understand both points of view. However I totally understand people in my new home country South Africa supporting a premier league or La Liga side. They are bombarded with it on the telly 24/7 and the domestic football here is so bad its hard to watch. I try giving the newly formed Cape Town City a go but its like wading through treacle, and it's not for the want of trying. The gate receipts for one game probably struggle to cover what i spend coming back to watch City play twice a year.
