Kind of makes me wonder if Bridge/Bellamy etc wages are over-estimated also as indicated by Garry Cook. We've already been informed that Tevez is highest paid at the club and the £220k/week for Yaya was bollocks.

I would bet any signings from abroad (unless they were world class when signed) would be much less than currently estimated.

All part of the media conspiracy against MCFC!

Love it. How often does a 25-year-old, pacey first choice left back with loads of PL and CL experience come on the market for 7m and 65k a week?

Very happy with this signing... have rated Clichy a long time as one of the best left backs in the league... to get him at age 26 and for 7 mill is just an awesome piece of business...
