To be fair, when I've seen him, he looks every bit as good as Clichy but then what's the use in having a player who only seems to be fit for about 6 weeks of every season.

well clichy was no cole. I have major doubts about gibbs though. he seems to be a bit too nice of a guy and little too fragile.
