TBH I never check what the ticket shows as it always just seems to work however I have just checked now and it does show as Gala

I have the same issue and mentioned it in another thread looking for answers. Whilst not 'glad' it's happened to others, I feel better that it's not me that's fucked up

Edit: just rechecked. Still showing Newcastle (I have an email confirming purchase and it's on my season ticket account.

As has been said before, it doesn't matter what the ticket in your wallet shows. If you've paid for the game, it will work, regardless of whether it shows that game or not.

Have had this in past , still worked as it doesn't need to show on app , you could reload it on Google or if iPhone update it

Just called about this, Fella i spoke to said they are still in the process of sending out the updates because of the additional criteria. He told me to check again tonight and toggle on and off automatic updates and they should be there.

Mine is not showing either (yet), but I was counting on being updated during today or tomorrow. Good to know that, if it doesn't show, it should work. Took a screenshot of the purchase confirmation, though... also to remind myself where I'll be seating :-)

Mine Show Gala, however don't worry what it shows so long as you have paid your ticket will allow entry regardless of what match it is showing.

The trouble is I'm now worried I've lost my Newcastle ticket :-)

Mine has now updated as well.

Whenever possible (mostly cup games), I opt to receive the ticket through e-mail. Nice to keep things separate and no need to worry about pass not being updated in time for the game :-)

Last season a mate of mine who’s in all the cup schemes had the ticket visible in his phone’s wallet frozen on the first game (Ipswich) for the entire season. He never had any issues getting into the stadium.
As others have said, what shows in the wallet is irrelevant. The NFC chip will update and work on the turnstile if it’s a game you’ve paid to be at.
