Gallagher & Kompany Launch New Kit!

Really dig the away shirt. Not a fan of the home shirt at all.

Aside from the kits, here's hoping that once Nike takes over we will get much better merchandise than whats offered by Umbro right now. Im referring to everyday apparel tshirts, hoodies, outerwear, etc.

I must say Barca, Utd, etc all have wayyyyy more appealing/better quality/bigger number of items from Nike than the stuff currently offered by Umbro. Some of it is downright atrocious.
Nonsense (in my opinion, of course). Umbro's range of merchandise has consistently been superb and will be the biggest loss.

When I have the misfortune of being in the Nike store here in Dubai, I'm struck by how generic and boring everything is. Yes, Barca have lots of okay-looking t-shirts, training shirts, polos, jackets, caps, shorts etc etc designed by Nike.

But then you go to the next rail and United, Brazil, Holland, Portugal, Arsenal, Juventus, Inter Milan all have the exact same gear just in different colours (although sometimes they don't even bother to change those!!).

And if you don't happen to support any them, you can buy the same gear in a whole range of colours without any badges on them.

Nike don't specifically design things for their clubs, they design things for Nike and then slap the teams badges/names on them. I can already picture what the window of that Nike store will look like this time next year and it doesn't make me happy.

has anyone had normal premier league badges printed on in the past and how do they last after a few washes? wasn't going to bother, especially if they start to peel halfway through the season

As long as you keep it at a 30°C wash they are fine, got them on last seasons shirt and still holding strong now...
