Umbro were blindsided by their owner Nike and City with the announcement last month so they didn't have a clue that this was their last effort. (Prob very bitter about it so that's why they have released it now with City doing it tomorrow on the official site)
People that think these kits just pop up overnight are well off the mark I'm afraid.

What is going on with Noel being taller than Vinny haha.
I like it but it doesn't seem like a football shirt to me. Take the Etihad off and it looks just like a nice polo that they would sell as part of the leisure range or something.

At the end of the day it's just a pretty bland kit, but good at the same time. Granted, more effort could have been put into it but it is what it is, a nice, plain strip.
Over the road they have the laughable monstrosity that is the tartan kit, so for those not impressed with our new one just look at that and be grateful for small mercies!
