No one has gone anywhere. A whole series so far about local disputes. These use to flavour the series rather than be the focus.
Vikings IMHO is far more gripping and better watch.

That's not how he sees it at all.
GoT is not "his story". It is based on his story. They can do what the fuck they like with it as far as he is concerned (well, within reason which is why he contributes scripts and is employed by the show as a consultant).
"His story" is the ASOI&F series of books. GoT is a secondary product.
This is typical within the industry (eg Stephen King whose stories are almost always subsequently procured for film/TV takes this approach).

Well he can't say anything in public but from what i hear and read hes not best pleased, his publisher tweets distain and his friends who co-wrote the world of ice and fire do as well.

He gave up any right to moan when he snatched their hands off to sell the rights and was busy playing celebrity instead of sitting down and finishing his fucking books.
