Game of Thrones (season 8)

I have just watched some "best bits" type vids on youtube. The amount of little comments that make sense/have a deeper meaning now is unreal. GoT's youtube chans have still got a few months of material left just from that.
You got a link to the one you Watched?

Daenerys has always had that mad streak; she's just previously killed people that the viewer thought we acceptable deaths. The last season brought the realization that she killed people who it was more convenient for her to kill, rather than people she thought had done wrong.

Compare her reaction to Viserys' death to Tyrion's of Jamie and Cersei.

All the major characters have a homicidal streak bar Sansa. It's the lack of story showing Danny's descent into madness that grate's with me.

Quite clearly, fan fiction is how it should have ended. 50,000 different fan fictions.

What idiots the producers are.
There will be some who get giddy with pre-conceived ideas who lose their shit, they need to calm down a bit. There are legitimate structural concerns though which translate bad to the screen.

If you take Ser Jorah surviving the charge it killed any real sense of imminent danger. The NK had his super serious threat neutered there and then. The plot armour was to thick, far to thick. When i then saw Brianne swamped by the dead i was not moved one bit. You knew someone was going to help her and she would somehow be unscathed. Now if a headless or wide eyed Jorah on the edge of death came back and fell there and then you have a real battle set up. Otherwise he should not have been in the charge and we could have avoided the whole unsavoury business of bad fan service in that scene.

I disagree. Even before King's Landing, Dany's body count was some way higher than anyone else's. Every death just felt more justified, even if they weren't necessary.

The only death's that I can think were unjustified would be the Tarley's, and even then they had the opportunity to bend the knee.

Pretty sure I've been critical of pacing and plotting this series. Just amused at the x character should have ended y stuff.
