You do know the whole season synopsis has been leaked right? If you want to know what's going to happen just google it.Great eposide
One thing
Even though the Dothraki and dragon attack was the highlight, I thought Arya sparing with Brienne was good and Arya's obvious put the shits up everyone at her skills.
Can see happenig next
Rickon sorry dickon being captured and burnt alive as an example to the Lanister prisoners, Jamie and Bronn washing up along shore and tyrion be waiting to ask him to change sides,
Would like to see the BWB turning up at winterfell enroute to the wall and Arya see the hound again

Yes! No! Stop! Run! Turn around! Don't do that!

Tyrion looking down at the Lannister army being slaughtered was a great moment.
Technically it was only the Lannister rearguard as the whole army was strung out between High Garden and King's Landing.
All I can say is Westeros has got a lot smaller this series if the Dothraki can be shipped over to the mainland and get to to the Reach in a day or so - and yes I know Dragonstone is pretty close to Kings Landing but even so...

Who said it was a day or so later?? It wasn't specified at all so it could have been weeks for all we know.
All this whining about how fast people are travelling doesn't make sense - if they were going to show every little stage of every journey we'd never finish the story.
Also the battle seems to have take down place on the black water near enough to kings landing so not far from dragon stone at all.
Why have they actually chosen to make the last 2 seasons so short? It is clear that shortcuts have to made to compensate for the lack of show time.It is a bit weird though how fast everyone is suddenly travelling. I remember in series two when Arya was travelling to Winterfell disguised as a boy she spent the whole series travelling as the distance was so vast and she still got nowehere near. Now she travelled god knows how far in the space of 2 minutes of actual show. I appreciate they have a lot to fit in now but its just not in line at all with the previous 6 seasons.
I think its losing some of what made it so amazing by doing this. The interactions, the build up to huge scenes, the scheming and dialogue all added to what made it so great. Thats pretty much all gone out of the window this season. Don't get me wrong, im thoroughly enjoying it, but it really is feeling compressed and a complete change in the way the first 6 were made. Why have they actually chosen to make the last 2 seasons so short? Exactly my feeling mate. Love the show, but it could have been much better had they chosen to spend the time of the previous seasons.I think its losing some of what made it so amazing by doing this. It looks a hell of a long way from crossroads to winterfell looking at a map online. Certainly looks like weeks worth of riding rather than days. It just feels a very important aspect has gone from the series and that was the all about relationships and intrigue, now its just about battles and not the charachters so much.Maybe because Arya and The Hound never did that(head directly to winterfell), they travelled up to twins from the bwb camp and upon finding rob and the starks dead travelled across country to the eyrie rather than up north, maybe as she went dirrectly to winterfell and was close to the twins (the crossroad inn was near harrenhal wasn't it?) the journey was mere days and also Sandor was injured at one point and didn't they lose their horse?

I did really enjoy Arya's fight with Brianne though and the reaction from Sansa. Not sure the reunited Starks are all so pleased to see each other.
Yes that makes sense. I am definitely going to have to watch the whole thing again, it will be a moster watch going back to S1 are re doing them all. So many things i have forgotton over the course of it.It's roughly 500 leagues from winterfell to kings landing (the gaurd today even said Jon was a 1000 miles away), when robert travelled up in S1 he said it took a month but Cearsis wagon had trouble, it was said you could ride there in 20 days.
So I am guessing each episode is over the course of 1-3 weeks which would make sense, as it would probably take Danny and the dothraki at least a few days to reach Blackwater rushes nearest point to kingslanding.
We just aren't seeing the preperation times anymore, seems it's straight to the matter at hand I agree seems rushed at times
