Games you think ''How the hell did we lose that?''

Bolton at home a few years ago. Think we hit the woodwork about 5 times and they won it right at the end (with a pen if I remember correctly).

At home v boro. They had no shots on target and we lost thanks to a sun jihai own goal.

Hitting the woodwork 6 times v Bolton and Dunne conceding a last minute penalty.

Right at the death too I think
Dunney had a mad moment raising his hand very high

Was it Middlesbrough, Keegan era, when they never had a single shot at goal and won with a dunne og? In fact around that period we had a load of home games like that. But that ones one of the worst I remember.

I seen to recall that...was it WBA? might have been wrong as erased from my memory....we battered them.....no shots from them....then at end their keepers long kick off dunny shin and og.....but maybe it was a dream?

Chesterfeild away in the cup, cant remember if it was fa or carling cup. mid week night match. i might be wrong think we scored first then they scored two goals very late on.

Just another one of those shit away days.

Yep we drew that game against West Brom with 5 minutes to go and to say the Baggies were negative was a understatment.

Their winner was a cracker though, couldn't help but clap it as it went in

Boro at home 2004 or 2005. 24 shots at goal, 17 on target, hit the post twice and the bar once; and Boro didn't have a single shot all game, not even off target.

Final score:
City 0 Boro 1
We scored an own goal late on.

That's the one that sticks in my mind. Felt like I had been violated after that!

Sunderland away this season or Villa away 2010-11 (we had about 15 corners I think). Bent scored in an open net from 3 yards. We were still sort of in the title race at that point. Don't think we'd have won it tbh.

Definitely this one. Making Allardyce smile was a double whammy
