Garcia off?

What I cannt understand is getting rid of barry and keeping Garcia. Barry is a proven performer in this league and while his best yrs maybe coming to an end he is still a much brtther squad player than Garcia......
Garcia's performance have been nothing short of awful.

I think its because garcia can kinda play CB not very well mind but can play it

So could rodwell at a push....and even yaya.... We simply don't need him and he just isn't the correct player for the prem....

It isn't a very popular opinion but it is one I largely share. It's going to be a season a transition to some extent. Barry is a very reliable player who is disciplined and able to do what a manager asks him to do. I'd have thought that he would be invaluable to have around this season, starting the odd game or being available to bring on in games when we need a calming influence. On the other hand, I just don't see the point of Garcia at all. People cite that he can play centre back as a reason for keeping him. To be quite honest he can't even play in his supposed proper position even remotely adequately, let alone in other positions.

We have to comply with FFP and lower weekly wages with higher incentive bonuses are the way to achieve profits. just financial sense. he has been great for city however.

No doubt that was supposed to be financial sense too and now we seem lumbered with a player who frankly would struggle to get in Hull's team.

I agree regarding Garcia, we made a mistake there, however once we have sorted our defence i believe we have the best squad in the league, better than the title winning squad.

Garcia just isn't suited to the Premier league. Not his fault he was bought but sometimes you just have to hold your hand up and say it's not worked out. If an offer comes in we should sell and perhaps stick with what we have and reassess if we need to bring someone in in January transfer window. Although he's not up to our standard at least he doesn't appear to cause any problems re lack of game time.

He will not be sold this season imho and I am may not agree with Begiristain's decision in selling Barry first I can understand with Garcia being the younger player.
