Gareth Barry is City's Darren Fletcher, says Lou Macari

You were handed 2 goals with horror mistakes.

As were you.

We could and should have scored a hell of a lot more but for Given

Could've, should've, would've. You scored your 4th and winning goal in the 96th minute of play.

You were hardly a threat in the 2nd half

You were hardly a threat in the first half.

You were completely outplayed for 60 mins

No we weren't.

So all in all yes it was a great day, great win and we got exactly what we deserved.

You didn't get what you deserved, because if you had Ferguscum would've died of a heart attack when Bellamy scored our third goal, and the referee would have blown his whistle after 93 minutes like he should have done...

Classy as ever. You lost to the better team

PS - You could have scored in injury time as well, its not only united allowed to score.

You were handed 4 goals by a combination of soft free-kicks, inept defending, and a deflection on a header that was gonig wide. Forgetting that Richard missed an open goal, Tevez hit the post and SWP shot into the side netting. Given is part of the team also, if he stops you scoring then it means you're not outplaying him.

But none of that matters because it's all ifs and buts, you won, we lost, you got 3 points, end of match, but it's only the start. I confidently predict that we will finish above you within the next 3 seasons.

If I believed that I would say it. That team of yours is in decline. And the money just isn't there to build it again. Yesterday you were very very very lucky. Nothing more. Those my friends, are facts.

How were they lucky, you were battered in the 2nd half, you scored one excellent goal and a breakaway goal. You were outpassed, outplayed and outthought by supposedly "shit" and "oap" players. Giggs tore Richards and Superman  apart.

Richards missed a sitter.
You got run off the park for 35 minutes in the first half.
Two great saves apart,Given did fuck all.
We gave you two goals with shit defending.

The timekeeping was a disgrace....as usual.
That was your BEST TEAM.

And we won, our team last year was 10 times your team on paper but we lost, who gives a fuck whos got the best team on paper. We won and deserved to win as you deserved to win last year.

Was it fuck.Typical rag big-time bollocks. That's the sort of arrogant, shite statement that make your day-tripping tosspot fans the most reviled in the world.

The point I'm making is a wider one-that fortune favoured you again yesterday, and once again the major descions went your way.
We have now caught you up on the pitch.

As fans,we've always been ahead of you off it.

how are united in decline?..best start to a season in 14years
They aren't as strong as they were, which suggests a bit of a declination. Best start in 14 years and they got beat by Burnley. They aren't top of the league despite this best start in 14 years. We have a game in hand over them and could be equal on points with them should we win it. Is that our best start for about million years?
