GARETH BARRY - Where will he play? CB, LB, LM OR CM

OK, this might sound daft . . .but does anyone reckon barry might play in defence? or left wing rather than cm? i remember he played at left back and centre half at villa before movin to left wing, and then to his current CM position.

Just wondered how he would fit in tbh. and with ZAB,DE JONG AND KOMPANY , i dont think he'll be playin defmid :?

centre mid me thinks mate but you dont know, hes comfortable left mid aswell so we dont know i suppose.

I think petrov is gone to be honest, so i can see him gettin a fair few games at left mid, hopefully making bridge look good haha

i think it all depends on who else we buy but it has to be said he is a great asset being so versatile

He'll play in the middle, getting the ball off De Jong and giving it to Ireland, Robbie and SWP.

He is another player though that can play in more than one position. We seem to be signing a few of them. Good way to build a squad. We have to sign a specialist target man though.

Villa fans reckon he's gash at left mid coz he's super slow. He'll play centre mid no doubt about it

Apparently the reason there was problems with Liverpool was because they wanted him for defence. He'll only play there if necessary
