Sorry couldn’t see a thread. Latest squad shows 13 defenders and 6 midfield players? What an unimaginative waistcoat wanker he is

Tactically inept and got to the World Cup semi final because of a kind draw and a clamp down on man handling from corners leading to Harry Kane winning the Golden Boot because he was the penalty taker.

Had John Stones been England’s penalty taker and assuming he’d scored them all, he’d have won the Golden Boot.

If Chris Smalling and Jamie Carragher had been England centre back partnership in that World Cup, we’d have gone out in the group stage.

I saw it a couple of years ago- actually really good. IIRC it

Takes the piss out of Teresa May and Lineker quite a lot and the guy who played Kane was uncanny.
 
Southgate reminds me a bit of Starmer. Promoted beyond his ability but somehow muddled his way through and landed on his feet .

Saw it at the Lowry last year. Was really well put together.
