Potter even money favourite for the job.

Would rather it was Potter than Howe.

When had he had a high scoring team in recent times?

But it's dependant on the team you're managing and the players you have available. He's shown in the past when you have good attacking players, his teams can play decent football and score plenty of goals. Managing Roma with Tammy Abraham with leading the line isn't going to be the best incentive for a manager to go out and play attacking football, then you do have to be sensible.

Southgates issue is he's "pragmatic" all the time. Mourino knew when to be pragmatic and also knew when to play football when he had the players, hence why he's one of the most successful managers there's been. You don't win what he has if your teams don't put the ball in the net and overcome top teams.

The FA should go all out for Guardiola. He ain’t gonna take the Spain job.
