How do you analyze that Javier Garrido got the nod and got subbed on?

Mancini wanting to shut the game off by putting a relatively experienced player on compared to kids in an injury stricken team?

just a shot in the dark...

Sven's players that are left got to play, Maybe Sven asked Sven about possible signings at city and recomended Garrido and Petrov, would not suprise my if Bojinov came back now.
This Sven fella sounds like a bit of a crack pot talking to himself.

Haha beat me to it you git!

I thought it a sign that Mancini isn't afraid to use his own judgement, or at least to explore alternatives.

And Garrido was actually starting to show some good form before he seemingly vanished off Hughes' radar.
