Does anyone agree with this because i think it may be worth trying, obviously With bridge arriving it's more than likely he will be our first choice left back now which means garrido will be on the bench, but does anyone think it would be ideal to play garrido on the left wing as he likes to get forward and he has shown he can deliver some great crosses and he has a great left foot, example free kick against liverpool and ireland's set up for his second against hull away,

so then that means robbie get's a license to roam about and get's a free role which i think robbie would prefer imo

agree...would love to see this.

garrido is a very competent ball player. he is good at going forward and his passing / delivery is excellent. all great things to see in a 22 yr old. and as he is not being put under pressure to defend, he would really give us a quality option on the left hand side going forward.

Don't see why Hughes didn't at least try this against Forest.

Yes that was a very serious oversight, although their pacy winger might have caused even more trouble than he already did. Another example of Hughes' ultra defensive thinking.

It makes sense and would help solve our balance issues, but what formation would you play and who would you play?

Assuming Parker comes and we stick to 4-4-1-1 with Robbie roaming behind the striker, Kompany would have to drop back to CB:
--------------Hart----------------
Zab----Dunne-----Kompany---Bridge
SWP----Ireland----Parker----Garrido
---------------Rob-----------------
--------------Striker---------------

A proper 4-5-1 with Ireland driving forward would have to use Rob on the left rather than Garrido:
---------------Hart----------------
Zab-----Dunne-----Richards----Bridge
SWP---Komp---Ireland---Parker---Rob
--------------Striker---------------

In the short-term, who should replace SWP on the right? Weiss or bring someone new in? Perhaps Hughes could give Schmeichel some of that first-team experience he's apparently so desperate for!!! ;-)

good thought might be an idea to use him now SWP is injured and place Robbie on the other wing

Robbie on the right wing?Erm...look mate,i love Stockholm.Fantastic city with its Old Town,The Vasa etc etc but clearly living in a fantastic city has gone to your head. You can't just pick a player at random and put him in another position just because life is good.Where would we be if our manager did this.Just picked anyone at random and then stuck them in a position they weren't used to.

Hold on...are you Badgerhead in disguise?ARE YOU?

Ireland will be dumped out there or Vassell. In the real world Zabs should be put there as he spends a lot of his time going forward, can cross plus you get the defensive side of him as well.Stick Richardo the Great(tm) behind him and all is good.

As far as Garrido on the left is concerned,i still haven't seen enough of him there to make an opinion.Sure he has pace.Sure he can pass a bit but i have yet to see him skip past someone and bang a cross in onto someones head.It might be me as i'm old and blind and forgetful and blind.

Lets see what happens this week in the transfer market.
