Garrido on the move?

Wayne Bridge is the new Danny Mills!

Bollocks Bridge would have more ability with his boots on the wrong feet than Mills. Seems to me that a few on here have decided already Bridge is crap why not give it a few weeks and lets see how he performs with better players in front of him...

I totally agree that Bridge is a lot better than he looked last season. I would love to see any FB handle two attackers without any help like Bridge had to do in virtually every game he played last year.

He looked a lot better on Sunday as he had help in the form of Barry covering. I think this year he will step up and show how good a player he can be, maybe even push Cole for 1st choice in the England team :)

If he does get injured, we bought Zander(?) in the summer. This is a kid that has player for Germany at under 16 and under 18, and apparently was on the verge of breaking into the Schalke team. I wouldn't have any worries letting him have a game or two and see how he handles himself

imo apart from saturday and a couple of other games bridge has been a awfull signing up to yet, i know he gets exposed a little too much BUT he never seems to want to tackle an opponent and sometimes is caught out of position, although people need to get off his back and this season i think he will improove vastly and hopefully play like i know he can. no point getting on his back at the end of the day, he is a blue and needs encouraging.

Better than Bridge

Ridiculous statement and completely untrue to start off with.

The amount of goals we conceded as a result of Bridge's shocking defending last season will tell you otherwise. Garrido was in good form before Bridge arrived too and was dropped without a chance of him battling back into the managers plans.

If we sell Garrido it could come back and bite us on the arse

So everyone says how good Bridge is when Barry plays. So how good would Garrido be if he plays with Barry?

I don't recall conceding more goals after Bridge joined then before Bridge joined.

I don't recall Bridge condeding an absolutely ridiculous penalty against Wigan which cost us a point either.

Bridge showed on Saturday how good he is. He also showed it against Celtic.

There is no way you could honestly claim that Garrido is better than him.

Speaks volumes that the only thing you can use against Javier is an audacious dive.

His link up play is a lot better.

Already have done pal.

Go back and look at the videos of the goals we conceded in the last 5 months of the season and see what percentage are down our defensive left.
