Garry Cook comments about Tevez :)

Its going to be a treat and a half if we get to see them play together for CITY. For city fans at least!!

I actually don't think it would work too well, just like it doesn't work with both Messi, Aguero and Tevez in their national team. Tevez would immediately start the "look at me, me, me" fashion which would ruin any real team play, the kind of which we saw tonight.

it dont work because Silva is Spanish but guess what we do - seriously got to give a Tevez / Aguero combo a chance

I think Tevez may have is nose put out however despite my numerous rants about him and i still think he is a cnut on the field i cant be critical of him and his performance / skill / graft / determination / speed and whatever else wont be changed

I'm not a fan either, but I have never questioned either his skill, graft, determination or speed. I will question his sense (and willingness) of team-play, until he proves me wrong and keeps proving me wrong.

Nothing I have seen makes me believe he will do that.

Smile on my face just got even bigger.
 
If Tevez really wants fight for a place then good but he is no longer the top dog and he will have to up his game considerably to get back in the team. Tonight Dzeko Aguero and Silva were awesome, Balotelli wants to play and if Nasri comes Tevez may find it a little harder than last season to play often.

It amazing that we have so many options. I still hope Balo can feature and score some goals.

Off the field, he is the worst player you could ever have.
On the pitch, he is the best player without a doubt !

Well IMO no one from tonights team should be dropped. I know Mancini may not see it that way but I don't see a reason to change a winning team where every player played well, with fantastic performances from Dzeko Aguero and Silva, as well as Johnson.

I'm not saying Tevez isn't an awesome player but who should he come in for in your opinion.

Good. I've been saying since last Xmas that he wasn't going anywhere and I'm still of the same opinion...

Could be quite an interesting battle between him and Kun as to who's going to get the most goals... My money's on Kun.
