To be fair, they were cuntish questions that he really shouldn't answer. Are you embarassed about the sacking of Mark Hughes? WTF? He shouldn't have got involved again after reading out the statement...

The amount of twattish behaviour from the media AND some City fans over this is pathetic, laughable, sickening - whatever words you can think of.

We sack an underperforming, over resourced, never won anything manager and replaced him in a way that should have completely benefitted the club - swiftly and without a second of not having a manager - I ask nothing more from the board of our club, and this is the first time we have had one capable of acting that way!

I really, really don't understand where this bleeding heart for Hughes is coming from - it's not like they gang raped his sister.

Cook stated the details in the statement. He and anyone with half a braincell knew that any questions after that would be about Hughes and not the future and also would not be trying to do City any favours. The one thing Cook got wrong was that he should have taken a tougher line with them once it was clear they had their own agenda. In fact it was probably City's press officer who should have been stronger so maybe Cook was hoping she would have done her job better.

Conspiracy theories? We are the ones to theorise about whether there has been a conspiracy. Why is it that scoundrels always want to re-define a word. Cook has met with someone, probably Khaldoon and the board (?) to cobble together a package which would be harmful to Mark Hughes. That is a conspiracy, Cookie lad. I understand how the world works - one conspiracy after another. OK. I still turn up on Saturday. Yer right. I'm drawing a line under this conspiracy but city fans will be watching you like one of those hawks of which the owner is so fond.

Cook should have just come out and said "Mark was not good enough for Man City, Leaks came from within the club which i can only apologise for . We as a club could have dealt with the dismissal of Hughes better than we did, once again our apologies go out to Mark"
I dont give a shit about how Hughes was sacked as long as he was , now lets fuckin move on .

It is not about conspiracy it is about integrity, a decent employer does not appoint someone while you are still in the job.

Mancini was magniicent at the press conference, good humoured, professional.

Cook in contrast was an embarrassment, incompetent, contradictory (I will not discuss then discusses it) and seriously lacking credibility.

underperforming being 6th with a game in hand and a carling-cup semi final.....so what we've drawn to teams we should have won-ive fucking enjoyed watching this season and were rite up there! Wenger came from Japan with fuck all to his name look how he's ended up.

Your such a wet. What difference does it make if Mancini was contacted last Friday or last month? Once the club decided Hughes was history - after a string of poor results we needed a manager lined up. I suppose you were happy when Franny Lee was trawling around for months to replace Horton with all the media laughing that no one wanted the job.

What is this vendetta against Cook and the bleeding heart for Hughes?
