meet him he is a decent bloke............

- ask the family of Steve Kay and what he did for the funeral

- the charity shirts he has dished out........

- the disabled fans he has got to games

- the umpteen way he has assisted other fans.........

yes he's made a couple of mistakes , who doesn't ............
Yes credit where credit is due the Public Relations side of the club has been improved 10 fold then there is the free highlights on the OS.
EDIT however Cooks gaffs are costly and I question his faith in the team for the fact he kept going on about this 70 point target to me shows when they sounded out Mancini they didn't think we could beat Chelsea

I once helped a blind old lady across the road. It doesn't mean I am good at my job. The guy comes across a right clown which reflects badly on the club....I cannot BELIEVE so many other blues on here can not see this

I go every game, lots of people I have talked with countless people in the past few days and you guys are truely on your own, probably rags in disguise.

Why do you want to knock your own club??

It does not make any sense, I aint embarassed by Cook, I am embarassed by the likes of you lot calling yourselves City fans.

Cook is doing his job and doing it well, he backed Hughes to the hilt and when hughes fuked it up he got told by our owners to get rid of him for a better mananger which he has done.

One of you numpties mentioned the KAKA deal, why did he embarass, himself and us??? the owner told him to give hughes what he wants, hughes said get me kaka he went off and did his best, the trouble is we aint a good proposition to kaka at this time.

No matter how many times you stamp your feet you are still not playing Xbox tonight.

Cook is a clever man and knows the sporting world, he was coe of nike and you dont get there by embarassing yourself or the company you work for.
If in doubt bring on the rag comments faced with arguements the opposite to what you think. Judging by reaction from fans in the press there is a fair amount share the same view. As for Cook get real the same man who inducted Uwe Rosler to the M*nchester U****D hall of fame???????????
PS I am 32 Blue as long as I can remember thanks to my mum was a junior blue ball boy at Maine Road a few times (mainly reserves) had my first season ticket on the Kippax cost £40 for the season. both my sons are in LIVE4CITY my eldest even presented Superman with the LIVE4CITY player of the year award last season my son even made his own little youtube video to show how much we love the club

Just a wild guess but I bet your more likely to be on the Xbox than me stop throwing your toys out of the pram just because your presented with a different point of view. The poll on here proved Hughes outers were in the minority just they were the ones making the most noise. However as I said I will get behind Mancini and the boys perhaps it's the way my mum brought me up but I have NEVER called for a manager to be sacked Clark and Ball really tested that though.
Bully for you, so as I said before its people like you who are just in it for the moaning, just because you have done all this does not give you the right to berate our club in public, on record, I dont care if you built the stadium single handedly, if you cant see the wood for the trees there is no point talking to you.
Your point of view is your point of view, I strongly dis agree with it, so you say im throwing my toys out the pram, for someone so high and mighty its a low come back....

I meant the rag comment that was low mate anyway look I made it clear I am fully behind Mancini just I question the clubs true motives behind the sacking just agree to disagree and leave it at that.

I will leave it at Hughes and the Taffia were not up to the job so they were sacked and handsomely paid off.

This still going on? I dropped out about page 10. I cannot believe that people have the time to waste on arguing about a situation that they can do nothing about, it was already history yesterday and comes down in the end to Hughes inners not being prepared to let him go and looking for someone to blame instead of his inability to deliver a top defense after 18 months and nearly £60m spent on it.

1 comment sorry 2 in 13 pages is not much compared with some. Hope it does't but if its still going after 33 pages I'll add another comment.

Neither can I mate, its so weird that they think because he does some good things for the fans (he has a huge marketing budget at his disposal and its extremely good publicity for the club) that he should be forgiven for behaving like a complete moron in public on a regular basis. If yesterday was the first time he had let club down then fair enough anyone can make a mistake. Cook has been making mistakes since day one and very public ones at that. He is paid alot of money and is in one of the most important jobs in the clubs hierarchy. Quite simply he's championship and we're aiming for the champions league. The bare minimum I would expect of the CEO is not to embarrass the club every time he opens his mouth, Cook can't even manage that. Cook isn't your mate in an office that everyone knows is a bit rubbish but he's a nice guy so noboday says anything, he's a bloody important part of our club and we deserve better.
