They (yes, them again) always say that the hardest job in football is sticking the ball in the back of the net. By that criteria, it's easy to see why Haaland got the nod. But, like you, I can't find fault in anything he said re Ilkay and Kevin.
I also liked how the prestige argument for the award has in the past carried through. Sadly, these days it is about popularity. That and 50+ goals...
